Custom Stand Up Saltwater Rods

Stand Up rods for large Common Skate, Conger, Shark and heavy overseas fishing.

Built using 30-60, or 50-80 class stand up blanks in either E-glass or graphite composite in a variety of lengths. The near indestructible quality of E-glass make it the preferred choice for this form of fishing, with graphite the blank of choice for those preferring a faster action. Weight is not a problem for either blank as they weigh virtually the same thanks to advancements in fibreglass technology.

Rods can be fully rollered, roller guide tip and butt only or all heavy duty guides with SiC rings.

Aluminium butts are available as a ‘slick butt’ in all black, black/gold and silver or, as an all aluminium two piece butt and are manufactured in the US to the highest standard using the finest marine grade by Stuart Industries Fishing Tackle. Pac Bay two piece, all aluminium butts are available in black/gold or all silver.

Roller guides are available from Stuart, Pac Bay or All American Roller Guides who offer some amazing colours. The Stuart and Pac Bay guides are well suited to braid use due to their recessed rollers. Stuart and All American offer great knot clearance for wind on leaders.
